Be the Revolution is just the beginning for a national tour. Post Gen artists will be joined by musicians, slam poets, stand-up comedians, and hundreds of volunteers to distribute the posters and information about the presidential campaign. We've got to party for our right to fight for freedom of expression! Look for Post Gen at the Democratic National Convention in Boston, the Republican National Convention in New York City and soon in a neighborhood near you!

A note about Post Gen: Post Gen is a new art collective that strives to create a vehicle to mobilize and apply creative and progressive thinking to enhance our post-modern world. Influential artists will facilitate open forums that support the quest for knowledge and action to empower the individual. Post Gen artists provide collaborative artistic interpretations of current social and political issues in art mediums that are complementary to conventional forms of communication (i.e. tv news, news paper, e-news). The Post Gen is our time defined on our terms, now.

ROBBIE CONAL

"There is no postering we do that is legal," Conal says. It's a form of civil disobedience. Some of the volunteers are nervous, but Conal says that in the eight years of plastering American cities with his political art, including similar posters of Ronald Reagan and George Bush, he has never been arrested.

"This is a very street way of communication, unmediated by the media," Conal told The Post. "It's like rap art. The essence of it is resistance. The people I paint are so powerful, and this is an expression of people who are not so powerful."

NEW BOOK "ARTBURN"
IS OUT!

A note from Robbie:
BUNS! The new TOUR BUTTON is up on the Home Page. This is the national book tour schedule so far (subject to occasional changes, so please check with your local bookstore or venue before rushing out to make fun of me in person); we'll be adding to the tour as we go along and as I pump up on human growth hormone. We'll definitely get to the mid west before Thanksgiving---brrrrr!---maybe not the whole guerrilla band of bunnies, if it gets, like, too cold, but I'll be there. Chicago for sure. Boom Boom, my glittery assistant, will be making the east coast trip, DC, Philly, NYC at least. Yay! Come meet her and find out why she's called Boom Boom. If you're silly enough to want me to come visit your hood (at a book store or institution, mental or otherwise [college?])---so you can harangue me in person or whatever--or want to order more than 10 books for a bargain price, e mail Mighty Johanna: Akashic7@aol.com. She can handle anything.
