'Our Grief Is Not A Cry For War'
T-shirt created by LA artist

 

Los Angeles Performance Artist Denise Uyehara helped realize a T-shirt with the slogan, "Our Grief Is Not A Cry For War". She was inspired by the performances in New York City and read the news & statements on this website.

She along with several other artists who reside at the 18th Street Art Complex in Santa Monica, created a performance in solidarity with those actions in New York City.

Many T-shirts have been sold and the proceeds are going to RAWA, the Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan.
