BORDER/CLASH
A play written and performed by Staceyann Chin
directed by Rob Urbinati
After setting Broadway ablaze in the Tony
Award-winning Def Poetry Jam with a performance that
"seethed with sultry feminism" (Newark Star Ledger),
Staceyann Chin brings her powerful and seductive new
solo show to The Culture Project @ 45 Bleecker.
"Magical & Hypnotic"- Ben Brantley, The New York
Times
"Staceyann Chin is an original. Funny, Fierce and
Outrageous! Don't miss her!"- Eve Ensler
Border/Clash explores a life's journey through the
rhythm of poetry. Left by her mother as a young girl
in Jamaica, Staceyann journeys to New York where her
political voice and sexual identity come to life in
the slam-poetry world. Border/Clash is sensual,
provocative, political, beautiful - and not to be
missed.
Beginning June 21, the regular schedule will be:
