DJ Spooky, Outernational Talvin Singh, Asha Putli at Central Park's Summerstage on August 13th

Dear friends, allies, and co-conspirators -

I'm just coming up for air after various summer travels, and I want to give you a bit of an update on various things going on in my info-zone this summer.

First and foremost - I want to invite you to a really special concert I've put together at Central Park's Summerstage on August 13th. The lineup is London's legendary Talvin Singh (who helped jumpstart the whole Asian Underground scene worldwide), Asha Puthli, India's legendary experimental diva of funk, soul, and jazz, Guru from Gangstarr, New York's Prefuse 73 (playing with a band!), and the punk band, Outernational. The basic vibe is South Asian electronic music vs NYC inna soundclash stylee!

We're expecting several thousand people - so come and hang out early, 'cause it's a FREE, large scale scenario - it'll be crazy packed. Let your friends know about it! It'll be a fun situation - even MTV is covering it!
